Summer Days in Turku - Enjoy the Sea and Nature with Föli Waterbus
The Föli waterbus operates between 21 May and 2 September from 10am to 8pm from the center of Turku to Ruissalo and back. The waterbus stops are at Martinsilta, Maritime Center Forum Marinum, Ruissalo Shipyard or Pikisaari and National Park. The journey from Martinsilta to National Park takes about 45 minutes.
From the center of Turku, you can reach the Ruissalo National Park at the price of the Föli local bus ticket! Adults 3 euros and children 1.5 euros, bus ticket is valid for 2 hours. Traveling with travel tickets you travel from 7.5 EUR / 24h. Bicycles are provided free of charge at the waterbus.
This summer the water bus service will be provided with two vessels, m/s Ruissalo and m/s Jaarli. This will allow more frequent departures than last year. It is easy to board the boat at Martinsilta and Ruissalo shipyard. The Forum Marinum and National Park stops contain stairs.
Ruissalo is a popular day-trip destination that combines the sea, the magnificent nature and the beach. There is a children's play area and a volleyball court. In the middle of the area is an old restaurant building and a ballroom. From Kansas Park to Pikku-Pukki with a beautiful promenade with lace. There is a large park area near the park, as well as a link to the nature trail and the cycle path through the island.
