Fast legs from Viru Team at SEB Marathon and the stairway run

On 9 September, our team, along with 18,000 runners, participated in the biggest national sporting event in Estonia - SEB Tallinn Marathon. Then, just after a few days for recovery, it was time for a competition with professional and voluntary rescuers, the King of the Highrise race that was held for the 18th time.

During the staircase run organised by the Rescue Board, participants had to climb with approximately 20-kilo of life-saving equipment up the stairs to the 22nd floor of the Original Sokos Hotel Viru Hotel. We had the honour to rally along with the brave rescuers on the steps and host the event!

The members of the athletic September Viru Team were Klaus Ek, Karolin Varik, Katrin Pill, Priit Sepp, Eleri Ojavere, Alla Homjakova, Sebastian Einroos, Kairi Kaldur, Triin Ilves, Rauno Major and Reinald Udras.
