In the indoor playground, the whole family moves together. In Weightless Space, your feet won't stay on the floor for long, dizzying going and great game moments among the Skyscrapers, agility is tested in Latvusto and Kusti and Kertu's Home Planet.. Lot of fun for all ages!

Tykkimäki Amusement Park

Go on an adventure in Tykkimäki Amusement Park and visit the legendary House of Surprises, ride on the Orient Express, or enjoy the many other activities that the park has to offer. Top Finnish artists perform for the whole family on the amusement park's Entertainment Stage. Tykkimäki Amusement Park is 5.5 km away from our hotel and is open in summer.

Tykkimäki Aquapark

In Aquapark, you can go down super-fun water slides, play in water play pools or swim laps in a 25-metre swimming pool. For refreshment, there are also saunas with changing rooms and a restaurant with a large terrace. Tykkimäki Aquapark is 5.5 km away from our hotel and is open in summer.

Traffic park

In the Jaakonpuisto park in Kouvola's centre in summer, there is a traffic park for children to learn traffic rules and experience the fun of pedal cars. The traffic park is 1.2 km away from our hotel.

Hampstapuisto park

The new play area in Kouvola's central park offers excellent opportunities for play and sports for all ages. You can also work out on the playing apparatus using QR codes and Liikkuva Kouvola workout videos. The Hampstapuisto park is 800 metres away from the hotel.

Urheilupuisto sports park

A concrete skatepark, lush frisbee golf tracks and beautiful park scenery are in perfect harmony in Kouvola's sports park. Around the park, you can also find a Finnish baseball field, the local indoor ice rink Lumon Areena, and the Kouvola theatre. The sports park is 1.3 km away from our hotel.

Model Railway Museum

Experience the history of model railways from old to modern times in the model railway museum at the centre of Kouvola. The adorable old building, which VR used to use as a school, houses a large wooden train in 11:25 scale. It chugs on a 35-metre circle track above visitors' heads. You may also be interested in the upside-down diesel locomotive 1:45, or the terrifically detailed miniature city. The Model Railway Museum is 700 metres away from the hotel.

Glow bowling

At Happy Bowling, the glow in the dark tracks allow you to bowl for fun or a serious competition. You can enjoy small savoury snacks and sweet bites at the Keilabaari bar whilst playing. The bowling alley is one kilometre away from our hotel.

Kouvola Theatre

The Kouvola theatre has at least one family show on each year. In 2020, they are showing Adalmiinan Helmi. The theatre is one kilometre away from our hotel.

Theatre event for children, KUULAS

The annual May festival brings different theatre shows and children's workshops together, making the festival a delight for the whole family. A street theatre on Kuusankoskitalo's outdoor stage as well as international performing guests around Kouvola are the true gems of Kuulas. The event is meant for the whole family including babies and toddlers, and there are plenty of interesting things to do for teenagers as well.
