Onni the Squirrel invites families to Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki!

We warmly welcome our small guests!

Onni The Squirrel invites children to play and have fun at the comfortable play room! The play room is filled with fun things to do for the young ones such as giant building blocks, coloring books, jungle gym and many kinds of toys. The absolute number one activity in the play room is foosball that keeps not only the children but also like-minded adults entertained! Books and board games can be borrowed from the reception.

There is also a child care room adjoined to the playroom where complimentary diapers are available. For heating up the little ones food, there is a possibility to use a microwave oven in the play room. The play room is open every day from 6.30 am until 10 pm.

During summer time Jyväskylä has heaps of fun activities for families – and many of them are located in the close proximity of the hotel! Refreshing swimming trip is only a few footsteps away, since Lutakko's beach is basically right next to the hotel. Lutakko harbor is the citizen's outdoor living room where warm summer days can be spent enjoying café Satamakahvila's ice cream and playing yard games. All-time favorite yard games such as mölkky and petanque are available for borrowing at the reception!

Remember to add also these children's favorites on to your bucket list: Viitaniemi traffic park, Mäki-Matti park and Finnish Air Force Museum.

Winter's number one activity is of course frolicking in the snow! The best hills for sledding are located at Laajavuori and Halssila's Hiihtomaa – remember to pack some barbeque sausages with you, since both of these locations have a barbecue hut with atmospheric open fire! Little alpine stars can also practice their downhill skiing lessons at Laajavuori activity center, where also ski tutoring is available for beginners. Suuruspää suburb and Puistokoulu School have outdoor skating rinks open for public.

Do you need childcare assistance during your visit? The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare offers help with childcare-related matters. More information can be asked from the hotel reception, and you can make your reservation here.
