Orignal Sokos Hotel Tapiola Garden is located in a beautiful culture landscape in the centre of Tapiola. Right now, Tapiola is changing rapidly. The new shopping centre AINOA was completed in spring 2017. The nature of Espoo, sea activities and various other opportunities invite you to go outside Tapiola to see what Espoo has to offer.
The magnificent Tapiola Keskusallas pool and its fountains are located right next to our hotel. There, you can ride SUP boards and enjoy other water activities in summer. You can watch all the activities from the terrace of Grill it! while enjoying cold drinks. In winter, the pool becomes a skating rink – test whether you still have what it takes to stay on skates! After skating, there is no place for relaxation like our saunas, followed by a hot drink and tasty BBQ at our restaurant.
Exercise and relax!
Go out for a run. Hiking trails by the sea start practically once you step out the door. You can also rent bicycles from our hotel and take a tour around Tapiola. Helsinki is also within easy reach.
If you enjoy sports, visit the nearby bowling alley, the Tapiola Tennis Park or Tapiola Golf, which is open in summer. Tapiola Golf, and its 18-hole links course, offers a perfect setting, even for more demanding golfers. The Tapiola Tennis Park has seven indoor courts and an outdoor court which is open in summer.
If you do not want to leave the hotel, you can work out in our gym, relax in one of our saunas or take a swim in our pool.
Don't you normally have the time to go shopping? You do during a good hotel holiday.
Tapiola offers excellent shopping opportunities. The adjacent shopping centre AINOA was expanded in spring 2015. It includes more than 50 outlets, ranging from toy stores to clothing stores and from pet shops to cafés.
If you came by car, shopping centre Iso Omena is only ten minutes away You get to Iso Omena also conveniently by metro.
Espoo is a true culture city
The WeeGee Exhibition Centre, together with its four museums, is your place if you are hungry for culture. Children will love the treasures of the Toy Museum Hevosenkenkä. EMMA, the Espoo Museum of Modern Art, features interesting exhibitions round the year.
We also recommend that you visit the modernised Kino Tapiola, or enjoy theatre performances at the Espoo City Theatre.
