At the top
The best place to admire the magnificent nature of Levi is the top of the Levi Fell, at the altitude of 530 metres. There are many ways to reach the felltop: with a ski lift, gondola lift, snowmobile, or on foot. The view over the round-topped fells is always breathtaking, regardless of the season. Feel the spirit and breathe in the fresh Lapland air. If you are lucky, you can see reindeer grazing and hear the Siberian jay calling for its mate. Take your time and explore the scenic trail going around the top of the fell.
A wide range of activities.
Hotel interior reflecting the spirit of Lapland
The hotel rooms in three different buildings are decorated to reflect the different seasons. Do you feel the most at home in Lapland’s summer brightness, autumn russets, or subdued tints of the winter? The flora and fauna of Lapland are also present in the décor, for example, in paintings and curtains.
The windy felltop
How much time can you spend on the Levi fell - how high can you ascend? How will you come down - by skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or hiking? All alternatives are equally good, and the choice of method also depends on the season. The fell area has a total of 230 km cross-country skiing tracks, 60 km of hiking routes and 17 rest areas where you can cook sausage on open fire. The excellent restaurants of the Levi area are always filled with happy people.
Glow-baked squeaky cheese and offerings of fell brooks
The hotel restaurant Kiisa is like the treasure chest of a Lappish wife. It serves a wide variety of local delicacies, such as grayling caught from the nearby brooks, salmon soup, sautéed reindeer, and squeaky cheese. The Levi area offers numerous nice places to eat, and the most individual option is to cook your own meal in the wild on an open fire. We can provide you with the ingredients.
Relaxing bathing in the hotel sauna or enjoyment at Levi Spa
The hotel sauna is heated every night, and a bath in the jacuzzi relaxes your body and soul. More extensive aquatic activities are available in the new Levi Spa with a variety of pools and slides. Fitness enthusiasts can exercise on the spa's aquajogging track. Activities to match your mood.
Adventure and mystique
Levi is an adventure centre that offers fun activities for all visitors. Take a peaceful ride on a sledge pulled by reindeer or dogs, race on a snowmobile, or hike on snowshoes and admire the scenery. The culture of Lapland makes the break extra special. Art lovers will enjoy the works of Reidar Särestöniemi, and the Lapland baptism is an unforgettable experience for everyone. Many lucky visitors also get to see Northern Lights dancing in the sky.
